An alleged incident of code and chain ID plagiarism has caused a rift in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community. Steve,a topranked member of the community,claimed that the Shibarium layer2 beta testnet ID is identical to an existing blockchain's Rinia testnet ID. Kaal responded by stating that the chain IDs were picked randomly,and stated that a new version of Shibraium beta network with a new chain ID would be deployed. However,Steve then raised another allegation regarding the similarity between Shibarium Alpha Test and Mumbai Polygon code. Developers have since denied the allegation.
