The US Senate Banking Committee has announced three witnesses for a hearing on Feb. 14 titled 'Crypto Crash Why Financial System Safeguards are Needed for Digital Assets'. The witnesses include Linda Jeng,chief global regulatory officer and general counsel at the Crypto Council for Innovation,as well as Yesha Yadav,a law professor at Vanderbilt University,and Lee Reiners,policy director at Duke Financial Economics Center. The hearing will be one of the first in the 118th session of Congress to explore the regulation of cryptocurrencies following a 2022 market crash.
