Ahli parlimen Texas Cody Harris telah memperkenalkan resolusi yang akan menyatakan sokongan badan perundangan untuk melindungi pelombong, pemaju dan HODLer Bitcoin di Negeri Lone Star. Resolusi itu juga meminta individu yang melombong Bitcoin di Texas dilindungi daripada sebarang undang-undang atau peraturan yang menyekat amalan mengamankan rangkaian Bitcoin.. Resolusi itu menyebut tindakan keras China baru-baru ini terhadap pelombong mata wang kripto sebagai contoh mengapa penting untuk melindungi individu ini. Akhirnya, Gabenor Texas Greg Abbott telah merujuk dirinya sebagai "penyokong cadangan undang-undang crypto" di negeri itu dan dilaporkan sedang mempertimbangkan pengharaman mata wang digital bank pusat.. .

Texas lawmaker Cody Harris has introduced a resolution that would express the legislature's support for protecting Bitcoin miners,developers and HODLers in the Lone Star State. The resolution also calls for individuals who mine Bitcoin in Texas to be protected from any law or regulation that restricts the practice of securing the Bitcoin network. The resolution cites China's recent crackdown on cryptocurrency miners as an example of why it is important to protect these individuals. Finally,Texas Governor Greg Abbott has referred to himself as a "crypto law proposal supporter" in the state and is reportedly considering a ban on central bank digital currencies.
