More TPS less gas Ethereum L2 Starknet outlines performance upgrades

1. Ethereum Layer 2 Solution StarkNet Unveils Performance Upgrades StarkNet,a scaling solution based on Ethereum Layer 2,recently announced significant performance upgrades that promise to improve transaction processing speeds while reducing gas fees. According to the company's CEO,these upgrades will allow StarkNet to handle over 5,000 transactions per second (TPS) while keeping gas fees under control. By moving most of the processing off-chain,StarkNet aims to compete with other Layer 2 solutions such as Polygon and Optimism. The company has already rolled out a beta version of its network and plans to launch the mainnet by the end of the year.
2. The Benefits of Layer 2 Scaling Solutions for Ethereum The high fees and slow transaction processing times on Ethereum have long been a source of frustration for users and developers. Layer 2 scaling solutions provide a way to overcome these limitations without sacrificing the security and decentralization of the mainnet.
