Bank UK HSBC dan Nationwide melarang pembelian mata wang kripto melalui kad kredit untuk pelanggan runcit, sebagai tindak balas kepada amaran oleh pengawal selia UK dan skandal yang mengelilingi industri cryptoBank-bank lain di negara ini, seperti Santander, Natwest Group, dan Lloyds Banking Group juga telah mengetatkan sekatan ke atas perkhidmatan cryptoUK juga bertindak keras terhadap syarikat kripto dengan peraturan yang dicadangkan yang boleh menjatuhkan hukuman penjara dua tahun kepada eksekutif firma kripto jika mereka tidak memenuhi syarat tertentu yang berkaitan dengan promosi
UK banks HSBC and Nationwide are banning cryptocurrency purchases via credit cards for retail customers,in response to warnings by UK regulators and scandals surrounding the crypto industry. Other banks in the country,such as Santander,Natwest Group,and Lloyds Banking Group have also tightened restrictions on crypto services. The UK is also cracking down on crypto companies with proposed rules that could subject executives of crypto firms to two years in prison if they don't meet certain conditions related to promotion.
