I senatori degli Stati Uniti Elizabeth Warren e Ron Wyden hanno scritto al Public Company Accounting Oversight Board per esprimere la loro preoccupazione per i "loschi audit" delle società crittografiche e suggerire che audit impropri e rapporti di riserva potrebbero aver avuto un ruolo nel crollo di tre grandi banche Silvergate Banca, banca della Silicon Valley e banca della firma. I due senatori hanno chiesto al PCAOB di rispondere alle domande entro il 4 aprile. Warren ha anche chiesto al presidente della Federal Reserve Jerome Powell di ritirarsi da qualsiasi revisione dei fallimenti normativi che hanno portato ai suddetti fallimenti bancari.. .


U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ron Wyden have written to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board to express their concern over “shady audits” of crypto companies and suggest that improper audits and proofofreserve reports may have played a role in the collapse of three major banks Silvergate Bank,Silicon Valley Bank,and Signature Bank. The two senators requested the PCAOB respond to questions by April 4th. Warren has also called for Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell to recuse himself from any review of regulatory failures leading to the aforementioned bank collapses.
