Do Dogecoins DOGE and Shiba Inus SHIB stalled rallies mean the memecoin trend is dead

The meme coin trend has stalled in recent months,as the gains of the top coins in this category barely outperformed Bitcoin. Dogecoin is losing its popularity due to lack of tangible announcements from Twitter to integrate it into the platform,while Shiba Inu's brand building strategy may not be enough to revive its rally. Both tokens require a catalyst such as a tweet from Elon Musk or drastic changes to their tokenomics or fundamentals in order to revive positive runs.
