Vitalik Buterin has called for crypto users to diversify the guardians they use for selfcustody wallets. He recommends having multiple external wallets or addresses controlled by other people,and testing them at least once a year to ensure they haven't forgotten or lost their accounts. Additionally,it's important that guardians do not know of each other in order to reduce the risk of collusion.
