Polygon Labs and Immutable are teaming up to launch a new zeroknowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) that will be powered by Polygon's Matic token. This platform is aimed at giving game developers the ability to create Web3 games while also allowing players ownership of their ingame items and assets. The testnet is expected to be released at the end of Q2 and developers will have access to some building interfaces on March 20th. The goal of this initiative is to compete with the large gaming corporations that currently exploit players,and create a world where digital property rights are the norm.
